Private Collections, Galleries and Expos
Scott Kling has sprung onto the NY and Paris art scene as an emerging artist, and is represented by Dorothy’s gallery in Paris, Ober Gallery in Kent, CT and Piermontstraus, in Piermont, New York. In 2016, Scott was invited by Dorothy’s Gallery to participate at a 2 man Expo with Peter Yarrow, of the iconic music trio, “Peter, Paul and Mary” at Dorothy’s Gallery titled “Stand-Up for Democracy.” The Expo was held soon after the US elections, so the Opening was as much a celebration of art and music, as a time for X-Pat’s living in Paris to show solidarity for each other. Scott’s work has also been exhibited at the Mayor’s office in Paris, the Headquarters of UNESCO at an Expo titled, “Paris Texas,” and the Louvre. His work is also on display at Dorothy’s Gallery’s on an on-going basis.
In addition to gallery showings, Scott actively sells his work to private collectors and receives commissions from collectors who are interested in collaborating with him throughout the process; This includes working with Scott to choose a theme that resonates with their hearts, minds and souls; making a series of maquette’s for them, from which to choose the final theme, and choosing a unique marble that will ultimately bring the sculpture to life.
